Hunger and starvation affect many of the citizens of Namibia on a day-to-day basis, where the rural communities struggle specifically with malnutrition.
In Namibia, there are many children that beg for money on the streets during the day and sleep in little shacks or under bridges at night. With more than 140 000 orphans in Namibia, 70 000 of these children are orphans as a result of their family members having HIV/Aids and not being able to take proper care of them.
On 1 December 2022 DT Consult reached out to the Khomas community and provided them with fresh fruit on World AIDS day. It will be a privilege to be able to support the good cause of SOS Children’s Villages in the future.
